    .. is open to all.

There is so much that is wrong here, that it boggles the mind. I can only summarize that if it were a MoveOn/Democratic Underground/ Daily Kos plot, it couldnt work out better for them. Not that it is.. if it were, they'd probably have screwed it up. But anyone thinking Paul isnt going to run third party is out of their minds.
If he should forego that, it would raise my estimation of him by leaps and bounds, but everyone is subject to their ego-drives and Paul sees almost no difference between the frontrunners in either party, so we can just forget about him passing it up.

Normally your cockeyed conservative optimist, I am resigned to the likelihood of Hillary taking the oath in 2009.

Don't worry about Hillary, Jim. Diebold will take care of the election for you.

Am I missing somthing or did you just use a Huffington Post article by a professor at the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism as backup for a point you wanted to make?

Is this allowed in the rules of pettyfoggery?

He's been asked several time whether or not he'll run on a third party ticket. I dont think he will. I'd want him too... only because the turd sandwich and giant douche (see southpark) are even worse than last time. I also think that would be his best chance, by dilluting the vote a bit more. Ron Paul's ideals wont allow him to do this although he is an advocate for an open election involving more Parties.

There is a scandal abrew with Hilliary, I'm not sure how much it will matter, but you can check it out just google "Paul vs. Clinton" (no relation.)

Its worth the 13 minutes if you can find the video trailer. My favorite part is that it involves Stan Lee, the creator of my entire child hood entertainment arsenal, or creator of Xmen, the Hulk, Spiderman and more...
