That comeback by the Islanders v. New England was really something. Glad to see the Michigan Bucks still in there too. That's where most of the Akron players go to play in the summer.

Really sucks for me to see that just about every city in the US has a pro team except for Cleveland

The Railhawks beating the galaxy was wonderful to watch. But Cal FC beating Portland was easily the surprise of the tournament so far.

yeah despite Sigi's complaints Seattle took it to Wynalda's boys, and then you understand why these guys are MLS rejects. There is some real talent out there that hasnt made it in the pros. I wish all of these guys, the ones that truly love the game, could play for the fans in the pros, but unfortunately when things really matter it is a game of inches. Whether those inches are in the air or on the ground, they make a difference. So certain guys are only left with the inches they can create in their heads and sometimes it isnt enough. But a good run for Cal FC. I dont know if their story is good enough for yet another cheesy sports movie, but it is still inspiring. And as always, I like Wynalda's spirit.

Tough night for the NASL but still a great run. I guess I have to cheer for a USL pro team to win. *shudders*

San Antonio had a nice little run for a first year club. After the dismal match I watched us play on Saturday, I'm not surprised to see we lost. This cup would benefit greatly if the MLS teams acted like they gave 1/100th of a shit.

Chivas USA did. The brought everyone for the Railhawks match. And do you really have say Seattle doesn't take this seriously?

7 of the 14 teams went out in their opening rd. Obviously, not all of them fall under that category...but the majority do.
