And I'm not jumping on the Crosby bandwagon. I liked the Penguins when they were terrible way back when.

 

After opening night, it was good to see the Sharks play like the squad that is a #2 seed. Have to admit (with their less than stellar record against the Flames) that I was a tad nervy about the Sharks before the puck dropped last night.

Not to count my chicks before they hatch, but I sooooo want to play and beat Detroit in the West finals.

 

Oh, man, Mike, your "New York accent" (HAH!! -- that's a good one!!) is gone.

For those who don't know, the chant is actually:

"LET'S GO RANGE-UHS!!!!"

 

I'm taking a liking to Calgary. Too bad I can't watch any of their games (kind of like Fulham this year because I don't have FSC). Go Flames!!

Caps Win, what a game!!! Things like last night don't happen in the playoffs for the Caps. AO is great but, he's got plenty of help.

 

HUGE Hawks fan and unfortunately they didn't make it...but the NHL playoffs are hands down THE BEST playoffs of any North American sports league...the rivalries are fantastic...

...think about it, in the first round you have Boston v Montreal and New York v New Jersey, great stuff.

Anybody else see the Capitals fans last night, I guess they do care about hockey there...they were going out of their minds when Ovechaslfkjaslgj scored the game winner...

 

well I'm not a puckhead. Hockey is for wimps. I was extremely miffed that I had to miss the end of James Blake's five set victory over the Frenchies in the Davis Cup because of a stupid hockey game.

I watched the third pd, had to be at a dinner. That place rocks, so did the old Cap Centre. We fans got very apathetic. Remember we have been through several long periods of poor performance or running into the Iles or Pens in the playoffs and gotten our collective hearts broken ( 2 four overtime losses).
