Greeting from Costa Rica

It's not America, but you guys are the closest group to Costa Rica (plus I'm American so it's not too far off). Not sure how often we'll meet up over beers to watch the matches, but at least I can look forward to good conversations on the message board.

I've been following Fulham now for three years, living here for four. Have been a big supporter of the premiership for about 10 years, but could never really build an emotional attachment to any of the teams, that was until McBride and Boca shipped. Now with Keller and Dempsey, Fulham provides me with a particular connection in which I have a vested and genuine interest (beyond those who love Chelsea cause they won the league and CL on FIFA '05).

Originally from Chicago and was a Fire supporter until they brought in Blanco (now I cannot look at my kit without feeling a little ill). Still watch the games but it's just not the same. Find it hard pulling for them with that guy on the pitch.

Work with a bunch of scousers. Good guys but I still keep an eye on my hubcaps.

Looking forward to meeting you guys/gals one the other side of the boards.

Welcome to the boards...Hawk. Please have an Imperial for me. Well, make that two. So where are you in Costa Rica? I've got friends down in Tambor on the Nicoya Peninsula and can't wait to make it back down there.
