Hopefully Lawrie will get a decent CB. Knight is crap, he's at best a CCC substitute who only got minutes due to injuries last season. Maybe getting a Finnish international CB will suit Niemi.

Both goals given up on brain farts!

Zat should have never let the ball roll through the box unchallanged! Basic football instincts should have kicked in and prevented that goal. No wonder his quality seems to be so highly questioned.

Poor decision by Baird on his pass but Diop played the ball like he was on the attacking third not the defending third.

This game was lost on basic mental breakdowns.

I've been reading the Fulham boards since the match and most reactions are just pathetic. I was there, and you could see QPR made it their cup final and our players were just going through the motions because to them it was a PRESEASON FRIENDLY. It was disappointing to lose to them but it was clear that we didn't care.

Make not mistake, QPR were awful with very little quality and they took advantage of two defensive blunders. One by Knight (I'm done sticking up for him) and one by Bouba and Baird. That combined with 4 good chances missed by McBride and we unluckily lost 2-1.

Don't look in to this too much, it will drive you crazy if you do.

My family and I were lucky enough to be in London for the match. We're in serious trouble if we're going to rely on Brian McBride as the sole resource up top to handle the attack as we did Friday night.

Diop looked lackadaisacal at best and Knight is shite.

Mike, I'm glad to see that. I did not see the game, but I've seen 120+ spring training baseball games, the regulars using them to get ready for the season, win or lose, and for the manager to tie up some loose-ends, lineup-wise. I think the main thing we can take from that game, from what I've read, is that Knight HAS to go.

It's time for Arsenal. About a week from know, we will know a lot more about this team (good or bad).

We were missing some fairly important names as well which I hope are prepared for Sunday including Kamara and Simon Davis. Roll on the season!
