    I wasn't on this board at the start of the year but one of the three teams I tabbed for relegation was Manchester City :oops: . It wasn't such a bad outside pick. Last year their offense stunk on ice, I didn't like their summer signings, and I thought Sven wasn't up to rallying his troops. Shows what I know.

    that's why they gotta play the games, bro ... . Who knew that 'boro would continue to improve? I mean, they got rid of their best defender in January -- and got better defensively. Makes no logical sense.

    Great news on Sunday, I have to take full responsibility and say I had doomed Fulham to the Championship many weeks ago, so am pleased I was totally wrong, anyway by my calculations we have a overall WINNER and with 18 points JORGE11 is the recipient of the first "I told you so" Cup.

    Timmyg dont give up your day job?

    Jorge11!!!! Props to a South Texas Cottager -- albiet about 20 miles NE of San Antonio.

    and, although I did royally screw up the final tables, I did

    1. predict "The Special One's Firing"
    2. that Little Sam wouldn't last
    3. that Birmingham's board would run off Steve Bruce.

    Next season I must stop letting my heart get in the way [no more Fulham 11th/no more Liverpool 1st] of my predictions.

    Awwwww, WTF, I really suck at this, but WHO CARES?

    Predictions

    So my final table wasn't so good but I figured given recent events I would take part in some uncalled for self indulgance and point out a few old posts by me myself and I from the bowels of Fulhamusa.

    Speaking on the prospect of Spurs buying Boa Morte I said on 8-22-06;

    “If they threw in Danny Murphy I'd be up for it.”

    Speaking of the need for a right winger I said on 8-28-06;

    “Is Danny Murphy a right-winger by chance? He is a great player who has been completely wasted since moving to Spurs.”

    Speaking of the recent news that we’d signed Wayne Routledge on loan from Spurs I said on 8-29-06;

    “I think Murphy would be better”.

    :wink:

    RE: Predictions

    Next year I think it should be 3 pts for every correct prediction and 1 pt for every team that was one place off. :D

    RE: Predictions

    Next year there's going to be a few changes, I'll work on it and give everyone a chance to make there predictions earlier than this year.

    Any ideas will be appreciated
