Hmmmmm, not in those areas unfortunately. The US hasn't been blessed with great football venues. The Red Bulls play in Giants Stadium which isn't that great, Vegas doesn't have anything and Hawaii...don't worry about football when you are there.

MK White, when are you coming to NY? I could give you a bit of insight to the city in general. Assuming you haven't been there. Too bad there is no Fulham matches on, you could meet up with the FFCNY locals.

If you're going to have access to a car and willing to make a day trip outside of NYC, the US Soccer Hall of Fame is in Oneonta, NY, about a 3 hour drive away.

Huh...never even knew there was a US Soccer Hall of Fame. That has just been added to my list of to do's. Did you have a good time when you stopped by jmh?

I must admit that, despite having driven through Oneonta several times, I've never actually gone to the USSHoF.

So it is that much of a landmark and a draw to the greater NY area...soccer has a long way to come in America.

    Point of Information:
Oneonta's not reaaaaally the Greater New York area. It's about 200 miles away from Manhattan.

MKWHITE: see the private message I sent. Hopefully, it will be of help on your trip to NYC.

Marcello Balboa is in the Hall of Fame...I am boycotting the Hall until he is removed. Was a decent player, but his actions as a commentator dilute if not erase what he has accomplished as a player.
