So what has everyone seen this summer and what the reviews?

Lets see...Spider Man 3, Pirates of the Caribbean 3, Hot Fuzz, 28 Weeks Later, Disturbia, Shrek 3...

I've only seen Spider Man 3 and Hot Fuzz.

Spider man was a good installment to the Spider Man series. Wasn't overly impressed, but a good movie all the same.

Just recently saw Hot Fuzz and I was almost in tears with how funny it was. If you like Shaun of the Dead you will love this movie. Movie of the summer so far for me.

I went and saw the Hoax(the movie about the guy who wrote the fake biography of Howard Hughes) but left let down. I wasn't a terrible movie it just didn't meet my expectations.

Other than that I saw Chris Rock in I think I love my Wife , which I really enjoyed.

I saw 28 Weeks Later and thoroughly enjoyed it. But that is probably because I'm a big "zombie" freak and love a good "end of the world" scenario. It was pretty fast paced with it's action compared to the first, but it was still predictable at points. I'd recommend it to anyone who loves a good Dawn of the Dead flick.

Speaking of which, anyone hear any news about the Day of the Dead remake?

I plan on going to see PoTC 3 next weekend, and will go see Harry Potter when it comes out.

I'm such a dork. *shakes his head*

Completely forgot about the new Harry Potter flick. I don't read the books, but seem to be a big fan of the movies. (closet fan that is)

I remember making fun of a friend of mine when the first movie came out because he could NOT stop talking about Harry Potter. I went and saw the first and second ones, and got hooked on the books. I think they get better as they go on in the series.

So is 28 Weeks Later as good as 28 Days Later? To be honest I can't stand the gore, but I like the plot of the 28 Days Later film.

thought I would bring this post back to life since there have been a lot of movies released since then. I saw "I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry" last Friday. I probably wouldn't recommend seeing it in the theatres until it gets to the Dollar Theatres. Also, I saw Transformers and thought it was good. my wife wasn't too thrilled to be going to it and afterwards she told me she wants to get transformer stickers to put on the our cars. I also saw Harry Potter and it was good. Can't wait for The Bourne Ultimatum. what have you all seen and what should i go see?
