On commemorating MAF's 10th anniversary in charge of Fulham, he plans to spash some cash for Sanchez' first full year in charge (the Fulham headline article below somehow morphs into a Newcastle/Allardyce bit by the end...God bless the Guardian?!?).

MAF's statements will keep me excited while watching the transfer market this summer as Fulham may actually buy some quality to fill some gaping needs (all together now: defense), and keep the poachers away from Niemi. This is, at least, a verbal pledge to move the club ahead. And while I am usually singing "You never give me your money..." when commenting on Fulham's spending history, I believe ol' MAF is going to put his words into action this summer. COYW!

The Nor Irelanders may begin boarding for Fulham now...

I was just about to post this atricle from the BBC http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/footbal ... 700853.stm
but you beat me to the punch.

Must be an exciting time for Fulham fans around the world. Hopefully Fulham can compete and be on the top half of the table next campaign. Here is to hoping.

    Cheers

Hyppia would be my choice. Has a solid 2-3 years left in his legs. Can get him for a bargain as well.

Just found this off the BBC:
Fulham boss Lawrie Sanchez will be given a £10m war chest to sign Leeds' David Healy, QPR's Lee Cook and Aston Villa's Steve Davis. (Daily Mail)

Not big on David Healy, because he seems to lack the quality for the premier league even though he has scored a fair share for Northern Ireland. Lee Cook is a local kid from Hammersmith and the fans could easily get behind him. Steven Davis is young as well and again he is from Northern Ireland. He shows the maturity to captain his nation at such a young age so he would be a safe gamble.

Sanchez is sticking to the players he is familiar with and those would be popular signings. Looks as if he aims to please.
