If this has already been posted, my deepest apologies.

But who do you think had the best goal of the season?

My vote goes to Crouch's bicycle kick against Bolton. Top draw or of course Matty Taylors excellent volley.

What you're going to read over and over ... AND over on this thread is:

Clint Dempsey v. Liverpool to keep us in the Prem!

Aside from that, that Spaniard git Arteta's goal for Everscum early in the season.

That was a quality left footed shot. I remember that one vividly.

My choice isn't the most beautiful goal by any means, but it definitely is a memorable goal.

I would say Carlos Tevez's lone goal against Man. United AT their own stadium. The goal went on to be the game winner and sealed West Ham's fate for next year. Also, it was a sentimental goal for C. Tevez who has been the center of much contraversary this year. I saw it as a goal of redemption for the Argentine. I read an article this morning about supposed talks of Tevez joining Liverpool, and that saddened me. I would have a lot more respect for Carlito if he stayed with the team who stuck by him, and whom he pretty much single handedly helped stay up in the top flight.

But that is just my own opinion.

McFadden's last second goal vs Charlton was a thing of beauty (helped us to big time). Deuce's goal definetly brought the biggest smile (of joy and relieve)

I think Tugay's volley was sublime and then Martins shot from no where should have a shout as well.

Agreed, it was fantastic. I was watching the match and my jaw dropped. Pretty much dumbfounded. Couldn't believe the power and movement on the ball.

Although, it must be said, that Diops Goal from a couple of season agao against Manure was even better than that.

I bet Essien hit 100 of those during the course of the season and only that one came off ;), Rooney looked up and then - running at pace - lifed the ball perfectly into the top corner. The vision alone is audacious, but to be able to execute such a wicked idea....

The Scholes goal was no fluke either as he has a track record of banging in volleys from 25-30 yards.

I do, however, recognise that it makes me look like a Man U fan - I deny that.

Crouch has always been good with his feet and not so good with his head and boy can he dance!

As long as we're talking non-Fulham strikes, I nominate Agger's goal early in the season vs. the Hammers and Berbatov's semi-bicycle score vs. Middlesborough in April as class as well.

He has the moves and that robot dance always gets the people going.

Glad someone else appreciates how well Crouch can handle the ball with his feet. He is by no means a great header of the ball, but people label him a simple aerial threat just because of his size. In my opinion he is the total package. He is Liverpool's best striker and he should most certainly be in the starting XI for England.
