Good day to all the fulham faithful. I will be studying abroad in London this fall from September to mid December and would like to attend as many prem games as I can. Any suggestions you can offer to watch matches at craven cottage, pubs to visit, sites to see or anything else under the sun let me know.

I am a Liverpool fan first and Fulham fan second, but I understand the extreme difficulty it will be to come by tickets to Anfield especially with her time nearing an end. How difficult are tickets to Craven Cottage to come by? Can I just go purchase a ticket the day of the match?

    cheers

Tickets to most matches can be bought in advance. If you join the supporters club you will get preferential treatment and a magazine! Only really bad game (i.e. Tuesday night Carling Cup replay against Bury) will do on the door tickets.

Londons a fairly large place, so pubs can be a bit of an issue, where abouts are you staying while in London, I'm out in the South West and do most of my drinking in Wimbledon and Kingston (Hand and Racket/Prince of Wales in Wimbledon and the Tup in Kingston) are my favourites.

As for sights to see, I love Trafagar Square and always say hello to Nelson as I walk by. I also love the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace and Portsmouth dockyards (an hour on the train from Waterloo).

I hope you have a good stay in London, and if you do join the supports club you should be able to get away tickets to Anfield.

Thanks for all of your help. I will be staying near Hyde Park and will definitely need to get to some pubs in that area. Any that I should stay away from? (chelscum pubs?)

I don't remember too much about London from when I spent a summer traveling around the UK in high school, but I do remember loving the atmosphere of Picadilly Circus.

And if you've never seen a wax museum, Madame Tussaud's is just creepy. I do remember sitting there for some time convinced the wax statues were going to move.

I'm sure you'll enjoy your time, and I am deeply envious!

Thanks Quickdraw. I appreciate the help. Been too a wax museum before, but was never too impressed. Willing to given the Tussaudi's one a try though.

    Cheers
