    And we all get to watch the 5th or 6th running of sports highlights on ESPN or Women's College Softball on ESPN2, thank goodness.

    Hey, the glass is half-full.. much as that bothers.

    At least ESPN2's carrying the UEFA Cup... obviously just enough care about FA cup to make it worthwhile PPV'ing. But not enough to try for ratings points.

    {much as I always hate to insert an element of common sense into a good rant..}

    Not to sound mean, but ESPN2 will have the UEFA Champions League Final on Wednesday between Liverpool and AC Milan. The UEFA Cup is different and was played this past Wednesday and it was NOT on ESPN2, it was on Fox Soccer Channel. For those who care, Sevilla defeated Espanyol on penalties to life the UEFA Cup for the second year in a row.

    You are such a meany, Tom! (I noticed the discrepancy too.)

    Now go apologize to pettyfog now that he has run off in tears and before he gets a complex. ;-)

    Congratulation to Sevilla! Apparently it was a very good match. I tried to watch streaming via Germany. It sucked and I gave up.

    Well... WHAT - EveR!!! Glad you all knew what I really meant... as I have about as much interest in the UE- FA Cup as those guys do in our US Open Cup, maybe enough to belch in disappointment.

    And #$%#%#@ Quit baiting me.. things aint THAT slow, go write something for the front page.

    This game was really not very good. Manchester United didn't play very well, and the "scum"...well even when they play "well" it's still ugly and dirty. Most of the match was long-balls going both ways. On one such long ball, Drogba clearly wasn't going to beat Vidic to the ball so he pushed him over then fell down while kicking Vidic in the knee from behind. Typical.

    IMO neither team really deserved to win it, Rooney was the only player on the pitch who seemed to actually want to win the game.

    First off, Wembley is a beautiful modern stadium and one the English can be proud of. My only gripe with it is that it doesn't hold any of the traditional feel of the old Wembley but I guess that is the way of the modern game. Ok, I lied, I have two gripes, the second being the price of food. 8 quid for 3 pieces of chicken and some soggy chips. Yum.

    I sat among the Scum fans which, as you could imagine, was hard to stomach because they ALL felt it was their God given right to win everything. Yesterday opened my eyes to the world of the chavvy, glory hunting, arrogant poo down the road. The divide between who becomes a Chelsea Fan and who becomes a Fulham fan was made evident to me yesterday because if I had to look at those faces at Craven Cottage every Saturday I would have to question the team I chose to support.

    With that said, I just can't help to think that they didn't deserve to win yesterday. Most of the fans I chatted to had no concept of what it meant to win the FA Cup. They simply expected to win it. I guess my point is I kept thinking that for Fulham to win the FA Cup would mean 1,000 times more to our fans than to did the scum fans yesterday. There was no appreciation, just arrogance.

    Rant over.

    Just one last note, I was proud to be Fulham yesterday.
