    Cool!

    One of the biggest problems with user software, though, is that the designers... comfortable with IT professional work flows.. dont translate to intuitives from the workplace perspective.

    This was the idea of the graphics desktop and folders. But once in an application, there was little input sought from the end user... thus to use a spreadsheet, the accounting assistant had to learn a different sort of math, one more akin to a scientific perspective.

    Not too hard for a math wonk, but frustrating for a user that used 'visualization' to put the right transaction in the right account column.
    Some like me can learn to pair the two concepts - I made lousy grades in math but could simplify a formula to calculate waveguide resonances... to solve a problem.

    If I dont have a problem to solve, I couldnt care less about some math concept.
    {Why I cant remember prime numbers, to put a face on it}

    Taken to the point hinted at in that video, this problem will be solved. As long as we have enough 'pure math wonks' to make the tools for us. But they have to understand how the rest of us think.

    By the way, it's far from unbelievable. The Wii demonstrates much of the same concept in a different form. For that matter, the core of these concepts relate to three dimensional gaming.

    Just my opinion, based on 'visualizing'.
    ;)
