The Redbulls remain unbeaten while not just Toronto but DC are without a point.

Here's the most important standing, the MLS playoff picture. The top 2 teams in each Conf qualify as do the next 4 in the single table:

Note, however, FC Dallas' peculiar position. They could, conceivably, go from Conf leader to loser in the next two games.

DC sucks, Toronto's fans look good hopefully they keep it up, and it could be Red Bulls year.

Once again, it's getting difficult to find a team to watch regularly down here in darkest San Antonio. With ABC & ESPN doing NBA playoffs, there's not much in the way of national stuff on the weekend, and with baseball going on FSN down here usually carries the Astros and Rangers. So, I've managed to see only one FC Dallas league match and I feel more of an affinity to them than I do to Houston. The ONLY team I see regularly is -- natch -- the Galaxy. And that's a couple months before Becks arrives.

    'You talkin' to me?!!!

You want to point out where I, or anyone just about anywhere said Reyna was 'nothing'?

If you look 'em up, the comments were on just how effective he would be from the physio room. And you cant deny there was and is still good reason for that speculation.

However, as a Crew fan, I fully understand your vent.

And as a Crew fan, I can appreciate Reyna's impact. I've seen that from even players further along their retirement glideslope.. remember John Harkes?

When he came into Columbus there was some giggling and derision, but his impact on the pitch... not from ball skills but keeping the midfield in form and mentoring Martino in-game.. was unmistakable.

So much so that many of us would have been willing to take a chance on him as head Coach.

Anyway, ENJOY... NY has shot themselves in the crotch so many times before, it's only fitting that things turn out right and good for a change.

Settle down son, what are we three games in? Reyna due for an injury on Thursday and will be out about two months before coming back playing another three games and getting injured again

No in all honesty I wish the Redbulls and Reyna luck. They might have it this year it'll be interesting to see.

I debated buying the dk package long and hard, I finally broke down and bought this weekend. Am lovin it already.

Don, even without it though you can still watch a minimum two games per week, thats if you don't have Telefutra, in addition to whatever FCD stuff happens to be shown. Seeing how terrible MLS tv ratings are thats about as good as its gonna be for a while I'm afraid.

If your a Metro fan like me, then you would understand. We haven't been in this sort of position... EVER. Even if Reyna goes down, there's always Markus Schopp. Red Bulls have depth, that's what's important. And I think that's what's going to win them the Supporter's Shield.

so that's what I get for not waiting till monday..

Note that by beating RSL, Colorado leapfrogged from 'loser' to West Conf leader.

Why is the West trash this year? LA Galaxy remind me of the Cubs. They spend big money to fix the team (David Backham, Landon Donovan, and possibly Zinedane Zidane), but they suck in the end. Meanwhile RBNY spends a modest amount and can build a good team. It take more than two or three guys on a team to be successful.

    A) Galaxy had Donovan for a few years now, it's not like he was just brought in. Also, Beckham hasn't even arrived.

    B) The West is having a slow start, I think. NY RB, Revolution, and Chicago all had great starts. Two of the current whipping boys are TFC and DC in the East - teams that the West hasn't played much of yet (Yes, I know DC lost to Colorado and Chivas USA beatdown TFC).

    C) I love DC United going 0-3-1 in their first 4 games.

    D) Rumor is that we may see Angel in this weekend's NYRB-RSL match up. But the turnaround has nothing to do with modest spending: Angel hasn't played yet and is getting $1.5 mil/year and Reyna's getting at least a million. Though Reyna has been a HUGE difference maker as a leader and midfield general. He may not get the points, but the team looks a hell of a lot better with him playing. The additions of van den Bergh and Mathis (!! ) were wise to say the least.

Beckham and possibily Zidane has not played a game for LA yet so how can you say the Galaxy are crap with great players? Donovan plays good 50% of the time, and the rest of the team sucks. I think Mathis gets a call up during the summer if his good form continues.
