    Sat. Finals;

Sheff U 1-0 (on an own goal)
West Ham 3-0 over Wigan (Boa scored the 1st goal)
Blackburn 4-1 over Charlton (knucklehead Ben Thatcher gets red-carded, thanks Ben)

    Pts.
    Sheff U 38
    FFC 36
    WH, Wigan 35
    Charlton 33

All in all not bad, starting from that horrendous call going their way at Blackburn till the FA patting them on the heads thurs. the Hammers are riding the wave of momentum. Sheff U is so good at home you gotta like their position w/a floundering Wigan the last game of the season. At this point it doesn't matter which other 2 teams go down as long as its not us.
    Let's seize the opportunity manana

As I was telling my wife, it could have been better and it could have been worse for Fulham with regards to the results today. Let's hope Fulham can pull a rabbit out of the hat tomorrow at the Emirates against Arsenal.

Did anyone see the Manchester United v Everton match? If no, it is worth a watch. I will not go into specifics, but it was a very well-played, entertaining match.

Tom, I was almost having more fun tracking the United match while watching Big Sam shut down the Scum with nothing but newbies in reserve.

I think the "patting on the head" for West Ham may have guaranteed their survival. East London's version of AC Milan I guess, but I think Charlton is toast. Of the two, I'd have preferred Charlton to have survived, but the worst result for me is the Sheff U v. Watford result.

I'll be biting my nails all through tomorrow's match.

Is Watford basically done? Do we need to worry about them?

I'm confident Charlton will continue sucking wind, but my main worry is that West Ham will catch fire after playing so poorly all year long and salvage their year by staying up whilst Fulham falls out due to a long downward trend.

But if FFC beats Arsenal...well, a lot of these worries would go away.

Watford is already relegated. Fulham have their hands full tomorrow and I may need a Jameson with my breakfast instead of coffee. Change to toothpicks, it's much easier on the fingernails. Come on you whites!!!!

    Big Sam Resigns

Sam Allardyce resigned at Bolton today. Guess who gets the Wanderers next??? Yep West Ham...and after Man U clinches the title next week Sir Alex will field an all reserve team the final week against the Hammers. Looks more and more like the Whites will have to beat out Charlton and Wigan.
