    Free Cup of Coffee!

NBA be an old Florida phrase translating to: "Bargaining chip used to get a new megabucks contract out of gullible state university regents."

"Yeah the Cav's are a big deal in the East, but they're JV compared to SA.."

    - Steven A Smith, ESPN.

Boy. Even though this is about what I expected to happen, I hope the Cav's win the next three just to shut his big mouth.

Talk about Equal Opportunity, who said we needed a black Jim Rome?!!!

Jim Rome is the epitome of all that is wrong with sports. He his a complete wind up and the only reason he is still on TV or in the papers today is that he got a no talent quarterback to punch him in an interview. What does anyone really see in him? He is a terrible journalist, a terrible interviewer and if you watch/listen to him long enough it is rumoured a lobotomy occurs.

    "Slaba MedvaDANKo; Slaba MedvaDANKo!!!!!"

-- Steven A. Smith, ESPN [on why the Lakers were going to lose to the Spurs several years ago]

I stopped watching the post game analysis because I got tired of everyone pinning the Cavs defeats on LeBron and Mike Brown. What a bunch of finger-pointing front-runners. In the immortal words of Robert Zimmerman of the Minnesota Iron Range:

"you know, some people don't have enough to eat ... but they got knives and forks ... so they gotta cut something."

Sorry, had a slight case of "pneumonics".
I'm sure I can find a few who will give me a pass on that one, but thanks for the correcting. Misspelling is a personal bug-a-boo.

As far as this so-called NBA Championship match-up, Don, I really hope you and the foggy one have placed a wager on it. Cavs are struggling mightily.

No.... I wouldnt bet on the Cav's for anything. Don's right in his assessment... they're in new ground and the chances of them pulling it out are miniscule. Not impossible but hugely unlikely.

But the playoffs have been a HUGE boon for both the Cav's and the fans. Even if they go down in four straight, as long as they make a couple of the games close, Cleveland's risen to the ranks of contender teams.

Agreed, it is a ground breaking year for the Cavs and this run coupled with Lebron's amazing play has revitalized the franchise.

Hope the East will have at least one dominant team in the future. If not the West will continue to roll.
