I get a couple hundred thousand reads on my writing

    Unfortunately... not on this site.

    Well... DUH!
    For those who havent looked into them, they use a simple electronic ballast, and wont operate correctly when controlled by a dimmer or an electronic switch.

    But, unless it's for mood lighting, dimmers which might have been installed to save electricity are a waste of money anyway, the efficiency {light output for power used} actually decreases when they're dimmed.

    So if you're using dimmers for that reason, replace them with regular switches.

    GE's are a good brand when considering light 'color' and output.
