Never too early to discuss a Fulham match.

No place to go but up...

Well, we're at home, so maybe we'll come out and try to win and not play for just one point. With all of the time off in recent weeks, we should have a full squad to choose from. Everyone should be plenty rested to play a solid 90. I expect a spirited effort and a 3 pointer at the Cottage.

Sure would be nice to get a win. Since some of us may have forgotten what that is like.

With the international fixtures I don't think our American hero's will be all that rested. Bocanegra and Dempsey will be playing with the US national team against Ecuador and Guatemala. I'm guessing they will be benched for this game.

There is a round of internations to go before the Pompey game - Who is going to get injured on international duty?

Personally, I feel that it is nearly April and our season is over. We are not going down. We cannot qualify for Europe. If we go down the route of the Inter Toto it will be down to teams above us refusing to enter.

[begin rant] With that in mind, why the hell do we not play 'no fear' football? Play attacking players, and set a marker for what we can do next season. I would rather lose 4-1 playing expansive football, watching enthusiasm, CC blooding youngsters, than setting the stall out for another awful draw with players who look like they are already sunning themselves on beaches in the Canaries [and breath].

Yeah! What he said, above. Next season starts now, or really should have started a few games ago.

That said, contrary to Jacob's prognostication, I think Boca and Dempsey start and play most of the Ecuador match. Perhaps get more of a breather against Guatemala, as the competition is not as tough and they can get a little rest before heading back to Fulahm for duty.

I've been looking forward to watching (gasp!) my first live FFC match on the 31st, but it turns out I have to work all day saturday, bummer. This may be the wrong place to ask, but anybody know of any live streams for the game? I do have internet access at work...

I hope that is the case, but we will see. We really need Boca for some defensive duty.

Both sites have an extensive list of matches. Just make sure you have all the software, though.

i think out of respect for Fulham...Bradley will play Boca and Deuce in the Ecuador match only so that they are ready to go for the Portsmouth match. Also...I didn't look below this post yet so I'm hoping no one brought this up already.

I know there are a few from Canada here, or others that get Canadian TV, the game will be shown live on sportsnet. It takes a bit of divine intervention for Fulham to be showed when they have the 15:00 kickoff, so I will relish this game.

In regards to two weeks ago, what is the deal with Fulham's black unis? They've had such horrible luck in them, but man oh man do they look sharp. Does anyone know where I can still find a small??

ANYWAY, I am pumped for this match. Fulham has not won in almost 2 months, but I forsee that changing saturday. Although I gotta admit I am getting worried about Charlton causing some ruckus with the other almost-relegation teams and a loss against Pompey could draw us into that mess. I just HOPE cookie will be daring/creative/a good manager with the line up. But whether or not Boca or Demp will see action, let alone be in the line up, is questionable. Here's my lineup, first name style!

    Antti
    Liam-Carlos-Philippe-Franck
    Wayne-Papa-Michael-Simon
    Brian-Vincenzo

    Subs:
    Jan
    Moritz
    Clint
    Alexey

Playing exciting with results not in mind? When there's a 5 million pound difference between each spot on the table (or am I off on that number?), I don't think any club will risk losing that windfall.

Here's a question -- perhaps for Mikey: has Bjorn's loan to the Dead Men Walking ended? Is he back in the CORRECT black and white? [okay, that's two questions]

If he's back at Mosburgh Park, it would be great to see him on the bench [at least] on Saturday. From Lauren's reports, he acquitted himself well, and I'm sure he's got something to prove.

Also, since Bradley didn't release Deuce -- as he did Timmy, Boca, and Gooch -- I'm assuming that CC had no plans to start Deuce on Saturday. but we should see Boca back in the middle.

Given how underperforming the team has been against teams who aren't predicted to slaughter midtable EPL teams, a win would be very welcome. I'm not looking for Joga Bonito, I just want actual attempts to put shots on net, crosses in the box, guys going forward (not you John, Montella's back for this one) and shots into the net.

That's still a lot of money! A couple more wins and Fulham gets almost enough to almost get a really good EPL player! COYW! Trophies are for Europe, but cash is for the WORLD!
