Right, it's now Thursday and so far no-one has decided to pay Villa any attention - and frankly that is just rude.

3 Point? Well, the record against the Villains is not that great, we have won once, drawn 5 and lost 5, so they are a bit of a bogey team.
At home we do slightly better, winning 1 each and drawing 3 (heck 5 years in the prem?)

So, what will happen after the glorious defeat against Man U? Will we build on it? Or, will we put in the kind of performance that we did against Shef U?

I'm guessing another draw, let's say 2-2. A goal in the last five minutes sets up the draw, and I'll say it's us that get that tying goal. If I'd reallly knew, though, I'd be on the William Hill website, though, not Fulham USA.

After this game, we're off for two weeks because of the 6th round FA Cup matches, then we play Wigan before another two-week break (international matches). What does it mean having so few matches over such a long period of time. Good? Bad?

If you are on a good run, then it is bad, if you can't win for toffee then the break is welcome. West Ham will be looking forward to it.

It would be most Fulhamish to lose to Villa on the back of another really good performance, the type where their keeper looks better than Neville Southall on a really good day, and to be able to do nothing about it until April! (I hope I am wrong, but if I am not then clearly everyone should blame DaveNearDC - he made me say it!)

However - I think we will play well, I think we will play unchanged from the Man U game and I think we will win 3-1 after going 1 down early on. I also recon that the pressure is of Jan as Antti is on the way back - so he will have a blinder.

I also have 3 magic beans for sale....

Hello, is there anybody in there? Just nod ifyou can hear me ...

... okay, well, here's my 11 and predict.

    Lastuvka

    Liam -- Christanval -- Boca -- 3U

    Dempsey -- Brown -- Smertin -- Davies

    BMB -- Radz

Full 90 [or at least the first 60] for the Deuce. I like Radz and Brian to score, with the Villans grabbing an injury time consolation goal. 2-1 for the Mighty Whites.
I'll be in the chatroom, although I'm a little concerned about doing it. Sometimes, when I check out of the chatroom, it logs me off the site and I'd hate to be on the oustide looking in like the rest a yez.

    Peace.

Edit: After reading the other boards, have to re-shuffle.

There are still some log-in issues with the site apparently. I can get in at home, but at work, the site throws up an error message.

My team, as I would choose it (but probably not how Cookie will):

    ------------------- Niemi/Crossley/Lastvodka -----------------------------

    ----- Volz ------- Knight/Pearce-------- Boca ----------- Rosenior -----

    ------ Dempsey -------- Brown ----------- Diop -------- Davies --------

    -------------- Helguson ----------------------- McBride ------------------

    Bench:
    Smertin
    Radz
    Knight/Pearce
    John
    Backup Keep

    Final: Fulham 2 - 0 Villa

Yes, slight hamstring strain but he'll be back next game.
Pity really, he has ben excellent recently, and the less said about Zat and Pearce, the better!

if zat plays we loose on a zat blunder if he doesn't my prediction is 1-1 draw. I would be thrilled if we just don't loose and the team plays well. I am very nervous about the end of the season schedule and the chances of getting pulled into a relegation battle. I want to be in the prem next season and see bullard return and the defense fixed. I think we have the potential to be a top 8 team next season if we can just escape this season

The ref for todays game is Lee Mason, who has only ref'ed a handful of premiership games. He presided in the 2-0 defeat to Sheff U and has a low red & yellow count. I hope he has a good one.

Well I can't say the ref had a good game but at the end of the day, either team could've come out with a win.

Man of the match was probably Boca, a great finish by him.

I was a bit disappointed with Radz up front...he ran hard at times but wasn't close to finishing.
Rosenior was ok, Queudrue was the same but had some great freekicks. Pearce held up Carew quite well.

Browny worked hard as always, Bouba did the same. Davies and Smerton looked really good again.

McBride worked hard but couldn't get on the end of the hoofs from Pearce.

    Subs:
    Routledge - didn't do anything.
    John - Who??
Helguson - didn't do much, but got to a few headers.

Overall, an OK performance although our midfield is coming together slowly...now ony if we had a quick/pacey striker to team up with McBride.

hooray for being able to post again!

this match was very indicative of this season: not going anywhere. i was disappointed fulham was only able to attain a draw, as 3 points would have been very helpful. however i was happy to be able to watch the first half of the game that came on randomly at this pub i was at saturday night. hopefully fulham can get retribution at the JJB in 2 weeks.

    super fulham, ffc!

Okay not exactly the greatest match but my friends I WAS THERE. First match in 2 years. Went over with my son for a long weekend. FANTASTIC. The weather was picture perfect. The ground looked outstanding, sell out crowd. Arrived an hour early just to soak it all up. I was a kid again. Enjoyed every last miniute of it. Atmos was a bit crap but totally enjoyed celebrating Boca's goal. Okay we looked nothing like the side that gave Man U a run for their money but for a guy who spent all his youth at the cottage watching lower division games it was a total joy.
Also I have handed down the love of Fulham to my 13 year old. Least I did something right.......COYW

Well done on spreading the message. Being a Fulham fan is a punishment all good parents to hand down, it teaches resiliance!. My 4 year old is resistant to the idea, but he will come round eventually or be outcast from the family.

I'm glad you had a good day and just sorry your son did not get to see a victory on his trip.
