    I stumbled upon this as I do whilst at work and avoiding working for the man for as long as possible.

    I'm curious about stuff like this because it matters to me somewhat being as how housing has always been just out of my reach. I assume that what this guy is saying is making sense because he is comparing to historical occurences.

    So will there be another great depression? If not, why do you think not? What are some indicators we can look for?

    - sigh -

    If you dont see it, no way I can make you see it.

    Except to point out my father-in-law was a classic "Us v Them" Union member, bitched constantly about how he didnt get paid enough {He worked for GM, fucrineoutloud!! Read up!}

    then 5 minutes later bragged about how he didnt do anything at work.

    Get a effing job doing something you effing LIKE to do! The rest will take care of itself.

    Goodness, 'fog; you've had a lot of that bottled up in you, huh?

    About the "Great Depression." [I can hear my students saying, "Mr. H; if it was so bad, why was it the GREAT depression?] I don't think you're going to see that happen any more than you're going to see a real World War again. There are too many multi-national economic tie-ins in the world to allow any of this to happen. When world regions become markets and potential markets, then short-sighted and selfish govenmental decisions that lead to things like world-wide depression and world war become less sensible and attractive.

    But, Smokin', I think that 'fog has a point: find a better job.
