I'd love to hear some feedback on this one from Tom.

Its amazing that so many people make comebacks these days.

I'm sure Scottie can make a team looking for a role player much better. But I'm unsure where he'll end up.

I find this a bit humourous. I am not sure Pippen is going to help any team at this point. He is 41 and contrary to what he says, I am sure his knee or another part of his body will let him down and he will get hurt.

I have always said that Pippen was a good player, but way overrated in my book. He is NOT one of the 50 best players of all time. I would be hard pressed to put him in the Top 100 to be honest with you.

That is taboo to say such things like that here in Chicago but that is what I think based on the many years I watched him.

If he wants to come back, I say go for it. But if the team that gets him expects much, they are kidding themselves.

Before I moved to the Chicago suburbs for my high school years I grew up in Portland, and no two words except for maybe Kevin Duckworth makes Blazer fans cringe more than Scottie Pippen.

All he did was roll into town, make $80 mil. and lead what used to be a model franchise into the dumper. He had one good season and when the team had a 18 pt. lead in the 4th quarter of Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals and the Lakers were making their run that &*%@^&# treated the ball like a hand-granade and kept passing up shots. I know my riff was a little off topic, but every time I see him or hear his name I have terrible flashbacks.

I'm w/Tom, except for me instead of using 'a bit humorous' please replace with ''totally and utterly laughable".

I'm not sure he could help someone....the media is throwing the Heat, Lakers, Cleveland around, but like you said SoCal....his last attempt on the court didn't work out too well. It's a big gamble, but I'm sure someone is ready to break out the check book for a 2 month rental....If those Knicks were in the hunt, I'm sure Isiah would have him. I would have to pass.
