A Hertfordshire man has pleaded guilty at Kingston Magistrates' Court to stealing nearly £20,000 worth of personal items from players at Fulham FC's training ground at Motspur Park last year after he tricked his way into the team dressing room during a match.

Portsmouth and ex- Newcastle player Lomana Lua Lua, Serbian international Ognjen Koroman and Fulham player Gabriel Zakuani all had items stolen.

David Seville, 24 from Stevenage, posed as a physiotherapist and persuaded stewards outside the home and away team dressing rooms :3d nervous: to let him in during a reserve team match between Fulham FC and Portsmouth FC on October 31.

After 20 minutes inside the player's area, Seville walked out clutching a large holdall that contained £19,000 worth of personal property including mobile telephones, tracksuits, cash, jewellery and designer clothing.

He left the training ground by the Motspur Park Road main gate and walked towards Motspur Park train station, where police believe he boarded a train back to Hertfordshire :3d laughing: .

Seville was arrested by Kingston police officers in Watford after being identified when his photo was shown on BBC's Crimewatch programme in December.

He was remanded in custody and will be sentenced at Kingston Crown Court later this year. :3d crying:
