A new Fulham fan

Hello all, my name is Matt and I am slowly becoming a Fulham fan. I have been a fan of the sport for many years but just never really followed the EPL that closely. I work with two other big fans of the sport who have slowly rubbed off on me so I decided to pay a little more attention and slowly become a fan of a team so I could root and follow someone.

I have been reading up on the different teams over the past couple months and became attracted to Fulham due to the great history, Craven Cottage, and it doesn't hurt a couple Americans I like are on the team.

In all honestly, the Cottage sold me. As much as the big stadiums are nice, I was a huge fan of the look and history of the place. Hopefully some day if I become more addicted to the team, I can make a trip over to catch a game there.

I am sure I will lurk more than post but just wanted to say hey.

My handle could mean both SoCal (LAX) and lacrosse (Lax). I have played lacrosse for 10+ years and moved to the LA area about 2 years ago so it is sort of two birds with one stone.
