Yeah it was fantastic. It made me very proud to call myself a Fulham fan.

it's great to be even a small and very recent part of that history. I'm glad that, as part of this web-site, that we all have a chance to contribute support to this incredible team.

I love Gordon Davies goal 7:10 into it. Great memories. I recon Gary Barnett would be in there somewhere, but it is too fuzzy to pick him out.

What I find most fascinating is the paper headlines that say, "FULHAM ARE DEAD".

None of us would be here if that happened.

It was bloody scary and why I hate Paul Parker. His reaction to the news that we may merge with QP-bloody-R was to laugh because it meant he would get to play top flight football - b*****d.

I remember invading the pitch and a peaceful chant at the now dead David Bulstrode RIH - I could clearly see myself on the six o'clock news that evening!!!

Then Jimmy Hill and the Royal Bank of Scotland, in conjunction with the local Labour council came together to save us. Then, just for good measure the team dropped through to the basement of the league before Micky Adam and later Chairman Mo pheonixed us to our present position. Lets hope the happy ending comes in the form of the first team to raise the FA cup at the new Wemberly.

Yeah a Great Video, I think I may have even been at the Fulham V Leeds game in the sixties.

And Mike, Having worked at the Sun for many years don't always believe anything that appears on the front page it's always about sales and always will be with a Murdoch Rag.

Wouldn't it be GREAT To lift the F.A Cup at the New Wembley

GBFC and M-in-N! Since I've read your last two posts, I'm afraid I can't think of anything but Brownie parading around New Wembley with a black-and-white streamered FA Cup. So, with that in mind, here's two new songs/chants for Meggrs [both of which were old in the 60s]:

    1. Que sera sera; whatever will be will be; we're going to Wim-ber-ley; que sera sera.

    2. And now you've gotta believe us; and now you've gotta believe us; and now you've gotta believe us -- we're gonna win the cup.

Well done, the first chant took a back seat for a while with Wemberly was getting refurbished!

None the less, both chants are sung over and over and over!

I'm appreciate whoever put that clip up on the front page as well as BTTC, who made it I assume. I just finished watching it and I feel I have a better understanding of the team I support.

    Thanks.

And thank heavens Fulham didn't merge with QPR. As Mike said, it would really mean the death of Fulham by itself, and where would we be? Probably supporting some lame club if supporting any club at all.

One thing all of us should keep in mind...the importance of Jimmy Hill to Fulham Football Club. He came in when the club was in dire need of a popular chairman (former Fulham player, sports announcer and overall TV personality).

If we get to wemberly, any visitors to the UK can stay at mine, if necassary we can set up a camp site in the back yard.

Ha, HatterDon! If we get that far, you bet I'll make every effort to be there. And I've got a hell of a set of pipes on me.

was actually there once, Martin; England v. Malta. Former Cottager AND Hatter Malcolm MacDonald scored all the England goals in a 5-1 hiding.

And while I was at "Wim-ber-ley" the fans kept chanting "Eng-er-land Eng-er-land"

Hey Hatter I was at that Game too....

Also been a few other times too, Two cup finals and a couple of Internationals.

Just a shame we didn't beat west Ham in 75, I left at the end and cried all the way back to Fulham
