No, I hate the MSM because they are STUPID!

Okay, we're having a pretty good ice storm here -- unusual from South Texas -- and it's closing schools and businesses and there's even a possibility for our first snow since 1985. The good thing about it is that local coverage of the storm has driven shows like Today and Regis and Kathy Lee off the air for two straight days! Whoopee!

The bad thing is that our local affiliates are scattered throughout the region standing along roadsides for periodic satellite updates. Thing is, that local government action has been very good, the word has gotten out about dangerous travel, and people [yes, we're talking Texans] have gotten the word and are being careful. So, there's little in the way of problems at those locations. Sooooo ...

... on each of the four affiliates, every 15 minutes we go from reporter to reporter saying -- in effect -- THERE'S NO NEWS! But, hey, we have trucks with satellite link-ups.
