I am interested in seeing this film because every major paper in London and every critic (on Rotten Tomatoes at least) has given it two thumbs up and 5 starts.

Has anyone else gone and seen it yet?! I'm trying to convince Katy to see it with me at the weekend...

I have seen this. I will admit its a bit of cinematic wonder as the director is well versed in realistic violence and story book fantasy.
I walked into this movie expecting mild entertainment but walked out feeling as if I was taught a bit.

I wont lie, it touched me to a point where it stimulated a bit of nostagic emotion, love of a character or two, and was well worth my money.

I didnt cry or shed a tear, but I felt joyed at the end which had a relatively indirect path. NOT FOR CHILDREN I should add.

I was surprised on how well it was done. I was gonna see it again as I had some questions that I needed answered but since no one really gave the movie a chance I couldnt even find attempts at interpretation on the internet and thought perhaps it was overlooked. You'll know what I mean if you see it and I suggest you do.

The director could make a franchise out of this one, thats probably the best i can say for it.

Let me know what you think.
