I've already pointed out that the Dems, specifically Rahm Emmanuel, lied about knowing about Foley the same time as Hastert did..

But did I point out that, congress is
    lactose intolerant?

Or that DoD Justice is blind..
    - BTW: I dont quite have the same degree of un-ease.. depending on why this guy was disbarred. There's plenty of incompetent and crooked lawyers keep their bar certification with no problem.

Or did I point out that the Senate voted 98-2 to not require earmarks in Defense bills to be described as to who put them in?

Yes.... I see it is going to be business as usual in 2007.

"Meet your new boss, same as the old boss..." except different pigs guard the trough.

    Meanwhile in Canada..
    Tories are delivering as promised
Republicans, take note. This is what YOU were supposed to do, if you had we wouldnt have a Dem Congress.

Maybe if I'd call Rahm Emmauel a lying sack of shit, I could have got a rise out of Don...
    ;)

    Speaking of liars and prevaricators:

Kennth Stein's page at Carter Center website

Kenneth Stein resigned this week as an advisor at Carter Center because Carter's new book was so full of inaccuracies and falsehoods.

    But even better:

[Eleanor Clift]You're obviously aware of your main critic, Mr. Stein, who used to be with the Carter Center.
[J Carter] Thirteen years ago! He hasn't been associated with the Carter Center for 13 years.

    So... he was 'window dressing?

my US Representative is Charlie Gonzales; my senators are Kay Bailey Hutchinson and John Cornyn. I wouldn't know Rahm Emmanuel from a sack of potatoes. If, however, he is a lawyer then I think "lying sack of shit" is part of the job description.

    Is he your US Representative?

Speaking of which, considering the "new Congress" hasn't been sworn in yet and the "old Congress" is still in charge, I think it's a little early to be grading their performance.

Wait until they've all been sworn in and found their offices. Seems fair to me.

Emmanuel ran the Dem Congressional Caucus campaign committee, thus was a frequent On-Air spokesman for the Dems on the Foley/Hastert debacle.
-BTW: Those hearings turned up NO mention of the FBI being notified, despite the claims of those Moveon.org sockpuppets from CREW.

The National Dairy lobby made a deal with Harry Reid among others, GOP and DEm.. think THAT relationship will change?

The vote on Earmark obfuscation was 98-2.. think THAT will change?

The elections are over, but there's no reason to think anything will get better without bloggers and others harassing the elected elite.

Hard to argue with that. We've had the "blogosphere" for about the last 5-10 years -- a period of unparalleled purity and devotion to public service from our elected leaders. We really appreciate all you've done.
