I didnt get to see the Arsenal game yesterday, nor have I seen any highlights yet... but i saw a great game last night.

It doesnt bother me that OSU was beat and showed they didnt deserve the #1 ranking, ... because NC was fantastic and the Buckeyes werent far behind, they led most of the game and just ran out of gas, they arent deep enough to play that fast for a whole game .

Still it was one of the best college games I've seen outside of the sweet sixteen round.

Too bad the Big Ten fared so badly against the big league, but I'm not surprised.

Thad Motta has done a terrific job at Ohio State. I remember watching Xavier when he was there w/ David West, Lionel Chalmers and Romain Sato....and thinking how good a coach Matta was. Now he's doing a great job for the Buckeyes and I expect they'll contend for the Big 10 title and a 1-3 seed in the Tourney this year.

Notice how i spelled it both Motta and Matta...that's cuz i don't know how it's spelled

Matta pronounced Motta, so no wonder...

I had the feeling that I would be bored at the NBA hi-lites following that game, and SURE 'NUFF!!!!!!

Damn it's great when your local teams do good, and especially when it's because of the COACHING!!!

downside to the game... listening to Dickie V's blathering over every freakin' team he mentioned!

OSU lost the game in the pin the paint. The second half they couldn't rebound or stop the post play. Come January when big Greg Oden comes back from injury watch out.

First off, GREAT GAME...on paper, and talked about to be a good one...but besides being a last second shot type of game it was indeed better action than most NBA games that night. As a diehard tarheel fan that knows only to love carolina (and please dont EVER get that confused w/ the other state below NC, just saying they need to not call themselves carolina) w/ all your heart, to expect carolina to make a game of the games they should blow out, that carolina will cause you some of the worst anxiety and possibly loose years to your life...but in the end its all worth it and now something really never heard of in Chapel Hill a team w/ depth, for at least one season!

I really enjoyed both teams, Ohio State is the real deal, and playing like that against the Big 11 (i know!) competition shouldnt cause them that many problems, my friend that is a illni fan and now hates me b/c of well...lets just say April 2005 and he doesnt like Sean May...but my main point to this rambling post is..

Oden better be as good as he already is and listed as the BEST COLLEGE PLAYER EVER....i know all the DI college players do want to go pro, but its nice to see Hansbrough as a type of player playing for the name on the jersey along w/ ellington, lawson, ginyard..the team.......the buckeyes on the court did look like they were doing that, but all i really hear is Oden and NBA...seems the second half of the season is just a preview for teams, hope he keeps up on his studies that semester...

all i'm saying is I hope Oden is the real deal, as it would make college basketball that much more exciting and Dicky V is correct, while i love college football and all the atmosphere to it...college hoops has the atmosphere and a POST SEASON that ALL teams have a chance to win the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP....anywho....

indeed a fun game to watch..looking forward to seeing both teams soon
