    What are yours?

After several years of spending Christmas with one branch and T-Giving with the other, HatterMom and I are escaping to an "undisclosed location" for Turkey Day, resurfacing for a Tim and Bob gig on the Sunday after. For Christmas, we're considering the witness protection program.

So, who's doing what? Traveling? Drinking? Gardening?

My wife and I will be going down to Bloomington, IL, about two and half hours south of Chicago for the day to be with my family. Both parents, four of five siblings, cousins, nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles will all be in attendance. I expect to be one of perhaps 40 on Thursday. It is a great day!!

The rest of the weekend will be spent relaxing and watching Fulham, the Bulls and the Golden State Warriors. Should be nice to have a few days off of work.

going back home which is an hour from Orlando, working Wed. having a few 15 drinks w/ my friends that night while watching UNC beat the Zags then waking up around 11 or 12 to get my "turkey on" and then that night head to my fathers for round 2 of turkey....i'm looking forward to the feeding frenzy!!! since i was younger when i was a Buffalo Bills fan they scared me w/ supporting NFL teams, but w/ my move to the DC area soon, my girlfriend and myself have put forth our support to the redskins...do i have some need to get punished? haha....all kidding, even though they lost to the YUCS down here...i enjoy taking the pain for pleasure ala field goal against the Cowboys!

I feel in the spirit of unity, it is worth celebrating any holiday or drinking festival. I like Vodka day AKA Day of the Defenders of the Motherland, celbrated on the 23 Feb in Russia.

In the UK - harvest festival is a bit of a damp squib, and is celebrated by small children inflicting out of date canned food on the elderly. This is good sport in itself.

Have a good one where ever you are.

My wife and I are heading to my home state of Michigan today for the holiday. We'll do the traditional things--shop, visit with the relatives, and watch the Lions lose on TV.

I'm coming back Saturday night, and I look forward to having a Fulham victory waiting for me on the TiVo!

My parents are driving up from SW Florida to have Turkey day with my wife and her Family. Should be a great time for all once the wine/beer gets opened up. I look forward to watching the NFL games per tradition and eating myself silly! Best wishes to all traveling.

GrandpaBob will be coming from North Dakota (who can blame him) to the Florida Panhandle to see his grandson, play some golf, eat my wife's delicious cooking, and no doubt have a few beers and watch the pointy kind of football.

By the way, for any Americans lucky enough to be regular visitors to London and the Cottage, don't forget that St. Paul's has a special Thanksgiving service on the day for American ExPats. Check your local listings.

I didn't discover this until I left Old Blighty for the last time, but ...

I'm be having turkey dinner with my parents, brother, and his new girlfriend. I heard she's fairly normal. My word, things do change when I leave the country.

Looking forward to some turkey, stuffing, and some pies for dessert. Mmmm, pies.

tough one Tom. Nash is a heck of a player.

I have 3 Thanksgiving dinners. 1 w/ my family, and 2 with my girlfriends family...her parent's are divorced. I will spend most of my holiday writing a 25 page research paper for my last class i'm taking at school. can't wait til it's over.

No Baron and they still should have won last night. Nash hit a huge shot as a two-time MVP does. I was proud of the effort by the players and Monta Ellis continues to rip it up. He is something special.

The Warriors play the Nuggets tomorrow night in Oakland at the Oracle Arena. I am thinking a new winning streak will be started then.

I remember watching a game last year and being very impressed. He's a quality player that will only get better...and is already a very tough matchup for the opposition. Things are definitely looking up there.

I officially had my Thanksgiving Day on this past Sunday with Katy's family and a couple of our friends. We did it in traditional American style, although I tried to convince them that we actually eat Pilgrims for Thanksgiving in the USA but they didn't buy it. Oh well.

On the actual day, I'll be going for my interview to get my national insurance number, running back to work to finish the day and then off to a job interview.

    Enjoy your holidays everyone.

I have yet to decide on my Thanksgiving feast: I'll either throw a frozen pizza in the oven, or I might splurge and make a grilled-cheese sandwich with tomato soup.

After my feast I will probably strum around on guitar for a little bit, then play some NES...SNK Baseball Stars and Excitebike. A totally festive day!
