3 players that must prove themselves by January (and for the rest of the season):

    1. Collins John

    2. Papa Bouba Diop

    3. Luis Boa Morte

    In that order.

As HatterMom might say, "pobrecito!" and pinch his cheeks is her best "diddums" mode.

I can't believe some of these guys. Want to play more, yes. But did he notice where Fulham are in the table? This is his time to say, "I'd like to play more, but I'm happy the lads are doing well."

Boa has been injured - there is nothing to prove in my eyes. Everytime he pulls on the shirt he is commited. He puts more effort than any other player.

In any sport, regardless of the level and prizes available you want to be out there. I would rather play for Darlington than Man U reserves. If I lost my place I would pray for injury to the guy who has taken it. I don't think you can be a good sportsman wihtout being arrogant and an egotist! The difference is the cleaver person will be two faced about it - John needs to learn to play politics a bit more.

Collins John has always struck me as a very selfish player. He seemingly has a bad attitude and is only out for himself. If we get a decent offer for him, get rid of this guy. Yes, he has talent, but if he is causing problems in the dressing room, he is not a good player to have around. Perhaps he will fulfill his potential elsewhere, but until he gets an attitude adjustment and gets his head straight he will not do be anything on the pitch. I am tired of this guy.

It's always heartbreaking to let tallent go because they are a git, especially young tallent that should be moulded. It will come back to haunt.

At least he has the hump about not being in the team, he did this before and when he came back he proved Coleman wrong and score a bagful of goals. I expect CC is hoping to be proved wrong again.

I hope CC is proven wrong as well, but it just seems that Collins John has not improved one bit in the last two seasons. He bitches and complains about a lack of playing time when he should look in the mirror and figure out that he has no one to blame but himself for these problems he has. I just do not see that changing any time soon.

Of course Collins John has a bad attitude, he is DUTCH!!!!! Bad attitudes are the reason that a national team of fantastically talented players has consistently underachieved since Ruud Guillet led them to success in the European Championships.

My opinion on selling John depends on what we paid for him. If we paid $4m as some quoted, then sell the little bastard and get our cash back. However, if we only spent $1m, as some have suggested, then keep him.

My rationale? Well, for $1m I will happily keep the miserable brat who gives us an added dimention when he comes of the bench. However, if we paid $4m for him then he's an expensive luxury and needs to sling his hook.
