Well, there's a point in that last... but the Dems carped long and loud about Franklin County OH voting machine distribution.. and guess what.. the Board there is majority Dems
Then there's Florida 2000. The counties in question... Dem.

And the machines have proven to, well... not work... Indiana and Ohio counties reporting long lines due to a switch to paper balloting...

I'm a believer in paper balloting, instant runoff voting, and non-partisan secretaries of state... we've got a pip of a sec of state in mn (kiffmeyer) for at least another 2 months... she likes to make people think that they'll get blown up by terrorists if they show up at the polls... and she likes to try and abandon voter registration processes that have been part of Minnesota's tradition of people-powered politics...

Here's hoping her reign is short and over in January.

Rumors of 'polling terrorism' already... whiteout poured on registration books, poll watchers refused entrance...where else: Philly!

like the primaries? How come we never heard about that?

I am not a luddite yet (as the onset appears to occur in the elder years), so I still think voter technology should not be thrown out just because we are having some growing pains.

There has to be a better way to be counted. Just thinking out loud........computer vote with receipt with ID # and votes cast. Then able to check online to confirm votes counted and votes tallied appropriately. If not, contact the ACLU.

Lumping me in with Nick Bateman from the Offal, ahhhhhh! How unfair.

Guess it could be worse, I just have to figure out how.

Geez, talk about slow on the uptake. Where's my head at?

Did think of a way it could be worse. Could have made a reference to Bumpy.

Well, the only litigation will be in cases where there are re-counts... esp if the Dems end up losing
