This is very sad news to hear and I hope along w/ many others for a healthy recovery...as it was not just Arena that contributed alot of work/time/effort to U.S. soccer. I myself will say a little pray for Mooch and his family....

Met him in the lobby of the hotel we were staying in for the Morocco pre-WC match in Nashville. Really nice guy and seems all the staff and players really like him. Wish the best recovery for him.

Damn, that sucks. He seemed to be in pretty good shape. I guess there is to it than just being in shape.

That is very sad news, for anyone having to suffer a loss of a person...but from what has been reported and what I've heard from following the team and him, he sounded like a good guy and I truly feel for his family. Makes you think of each day as being special. My prayers to his family..what sad news.

I just read this today, its pretty shocking. Not as shocking as when I read that Doug Hamilton had died on a flight after a game but shocking still.
