Could Voltz play then move people around? I don't know, maybe there is no answer to Boa but I do know he isn't acting very captain-like, he's standing around, whinging about everything! I wear his kit and love what he's done in the past, but I really wish he'd lead a little bit.

I had live games on the TV and I was glued to my PC screen watching a match tracker. Great win, great day!!

Bullard’s play seems to be great, however I hate depending one on player too much.

Perhaps we should collect on that 8 million pound bid from Tottenham?? If Boa was that bad as it seems he was he should at least be put on the bench for a game so he gets the message to step it up. Its a great relief to get three points and get ourselves in pretty good shape.

No games for two weeks and hopefully we'll have a new center back by then and a healthy Claus Jensen. Not really sure why I keep holding out hope for him but something leads me to believe he’ll have a big impact this season. Newcastle away will be a good test of our capability.

sooooo glad to hear the result, what a cracking goal by Bullard...i'll admit i was unsure about him at first, and while its still early in the season he is making wonder who this steed guy is everyone is talking about???????......is boa really playing as crappy as everyone says he is? guess we all get our slumps, hopefully he'll work through it sooner than later....but glad to have the 3 and for the time being seeing the whites in the top 10 above chelzski is nice

on a side note, watched my college open the season to a wonderful start only to have a thunderstorm delay the game, it was a team near my area that didnt want me and while at my college (Webber) we lost to them and they kinda gave us the treatment chelsea gives fulham in status and what not...but tonight if the lightning had not come it was off to a great start (www.webberathletics.com)

And I just had to keep Joey Barton (Man. City goal scorer) on the bench for my fantasy team this week...oh well.

Great win for Fulham. I would have liked Fulham to score some more goals just to prove we're cabable of scoring, but a win and a clean sheet...I'll gladly take it!

Well, I'll take the three points! Sitting in the Hammy End, we had a perfect view of Bullards Free kick from behind and as soon as he hit it, we knew it was in.

Fans were in good spirits again and we sang loud and proud, especially after Bullard scored. A legend in the making.

Niemi had a solid game although he wasn't tested much. The defense was solid again and Queudrue was superb, even Pearce and Christanval were impressive. Liam had a good game as well.

Diop was a bit slow again and didn't move forward well. Brown as well and I liked the look of Radz when he came on but he just doesn't go for goal...very frustating to watch! Boa was better yesterday but still slightly disinterested.

    SUPER BULLARD WAS SUPER.

John didn't do much to cause the Sheffield defense much trouble and McBride won headers as usual but didn't have many chances at goal.

Overall, definitely a better team effort and I hope it helps build their confidence!!

Great win by Fulham yesterday, saw the goal on Fox Sports Report last night and an brilliant strike from Bullard. The attendance didn't look to good though.

Attendance was good but not so much for the away and Neutral supporters. Its a long way from Sheffield to Fulham so not surpised some of the Sheffield fans opted out!

Not sure if they showed the Bullard strike that hit the bar on FSC but it was a cracking shot. A must see.

They did show it, and I (as well as McBride) were surprised the goal was still in one piece after it. That was a cracker!

Not a bad first week for a newbie. Even though the first 179 minutes of play kind of sucked being a new fan, the guys more than made up for it with their play over the last 91. Here, here for a solid first week of play! Bring on Newcastle!

Agreed. This is my first season as a Fulham supporter and the first match against Man U was tough. But I had been warned about what "Fulhamish" means and so I took heart. And sure enough, we nabbed 4 points in the next two matches. So, good work Fulham and COYWs!

You are a true friend, Mike.

From those highlights, a couple of comments:

    1) Bullard.

    2) John needs to pick up the pace.

    3) Bullard...

    4) Radz needs to pick up some confidence.

    5) Bullard!

    6) McBride needs to pick up a break (so close, twice).

    7) Bullard!!!

8 ) Shitfield's manager need to stuff it.

    9) BULLARD!!!!!

    10) COYW!!!!
