Really? GJ is fantastic and the only reason I paid for Fulham TV last year. Why does Fulham keep messing about?

I hope he stays, but on my experience with matchlive I'm not sure since they use radio feeds. I suppose they could still use the old feed Jim used. :?

I got the new site and found out that Jim will be at least doing this weekend's game:

"Join Gentleman Jim McGullion this Sunday as Chris Coleman and his side take on Manchester United in the opening fixture of Fulham’s 2006/07 Premiership campaign.

Sign up to our annual subscription (direct debit) for only £19.99 and catch all the action from every Premiership fixture as Gentleman Jim delivers his unique live match commentary. "

BTW, it's £39.99 for us, not £19.99, because direct debit is not available in the States.

If you can find the software for the old board, or tell me what it is, I'll throw it on the FulhamUSA site definitely. I've looked for it quickly but can't find it...

As for the flashchat, it will be ALOT better this season with the new server. There will be NO downtime.

By the way, I was reading up on the team history and came across this sentence"

"By May 1968 Fulham had ridden their luck once too often and the sultry 27 points on the board made relegation unavoidable."

Umm... "sultry?" Sultry: "hot or inflamed, as with passion or lust." Evidently relegation is sexy in some circles! :3d laughing:

Probably an idiomatic expression meaning "paltry;" it was funny nonetheless.

This messageboard will be staying the same, trust me. It was more or less for the fans that miss the old one and I can set it up to be completely separate.

Flashchat is a go still and hopefully you don't have anymore laggggggggggg ! :3d tongue:

Never heard that expression when I was there. I think it was fat-fingered. Gotta have meant "paltry." Your comment gave me a huge out-loud laugh here in cubicle-land. If it were anyone sane doing it, they might have investigated.

I have emailed Fulham via their website to ask about the match broadcasts---specifically, whether Gentleman Jim will be doing all the Fulham matches that we can get via FulhamTV. I've also inquired as to monthly payment for USA fans; I don't expect much in that regard. I will post any replies I get.

Good work. You'd think they could throw us a bone, instead of hitting us over the head with it.

Gentleman Jim is my main concern but you've asked the two questions I was going to. Well done BC.

Some more hunting on the Official Site unearthed this:

"Included in your Fulham TV package will be Gentleman Jim’s unique match commentary, starting with Fulham’s opening clash with Manchester United this Sunday, live from Old Trafford."

Here's the link the the full story: http://www.fulhamfc.com/Club/News/NewsArticles/2006/August/AllTheActionOnFulhamTV.aspx

Sounds like GJ should be in for each match. I'll wait for confirmation from Fulham to be certain.

Ok, what do you get for your $$$ with Fulham TV:

Is it just highlites that can be seen on FSC or SkyNews/Sports?

Is it the full game that you get on a tape delayed basic?

Are the radio broadcast archived so you can tune in later to listen to them or are they only done live?

Just want to know what I will be getting for my money....

Would have prefered the montly fee, since I really don't understand what I will be paying for..... Anyone know?

It's more in depth highlights about 3 min. of each half maybe a little more (they show the important stuff), not just 15 second highlights you see on Skysports. Again my experience with Matchlive was great, you get access to a lot more games than just Fulham. And since I don't have Setenta, it was great for following the Championshiop League. In short, it's worth the money for the entire season.

The highlights last year on Fulham TV were about 15 minutes for each half.

If Fulham won't give us a monthly payment option, I propose we all pitch in and just buy one subscription and share it amongst ourselves. If the club are going to be twats, then we can too.

I found the Liquorice site... unbelievably HARD to Google for a web communications company.
