McBride Transfer?

    True, doesn't seem feasible. As soon as I saw this I thought to myself "Well who is going to replace him?". FFC has a good shot this coming season, and now is not hte time to start dumping your solid producers. Then again, stranger things have happened.

    That's why my home kit stays blank,well its cheaper too. :) I feel it is sort of bad luck to get a players name on the back of a jersey. I think a number is good enough. lol

    sure is... straight up! No tricks, no smart-ass... no entertainment value (Sirk is the best at that) just straight up opinion and reasons for it, based on knowledge of all facets.

    Yeah, that Houston writer (Glenn Davis... same name as an 80's Astros first-baseman, interestingly enough) is a pretty knowledgeable guy--he hosts a weekly radio show ("Dynamo Power Hour") which is pretty entertaining listening, and he's done color commentary for a couple of MLS games on ESPN. He's got a weekly column in the Chronicle.

    You guys crack me up!

    I only went along with this spec because it was new and refreshing and wasnt about Steed..

    But, BELIEVE ME.. there's WAY MORE likelihood of McBride coming in to finish the season with the Crew, than him moving to Birmingham.

    I don't think anybody was taking it extremely seriously, but shoot you never know.

    I love McBride, but it would have some sense to recoup some money from a 34 year old striker.

    I just like the fact this rumor has been squashed like the little bug it was.

    it was never even a concern....mcbride's not going to leave London for that scum hole. He lives in a nice American expat community in an expensive area of surrey and his kids are at an american school here!
