Your name could be one name...Erikruse. Anywho, so what brings you to our wonderful site? As for Bjorn, I'm hoping we can develop this young prospect in to a force in the Premiership.

Plus the girls sure hope he gets a start or two.

    Welcome aboard...dude.

Funnily enough they come from the same town (more or less)...

Kruse; it took you long enough to register here ;)

If you like Millencolin, you need to check out "Teddybears Sthml", especially since they are touring the US soon.

Is it me or do Sweedish bands use a random band name generator somewhere on the internet?

    Perhaps this one? http://www.bandnamemaker.com/

I typed in "Killer" as my optional word.

It came up with this: Killer Puberty and the Professional Eclipse

With this name I've been inspired to apply for my Sweedish citizenship as well as canvasing the entire long island to find other scandanvian types who have the vision I do.

As i scrolled down, I saw this brilliant name: Right-wing Killer and the Sensational Confederate

This might inspire me to move down south, and well, start an aggressive political cleansing...

My second favorite band of all time comes from Sweden. A small band called KENT. They are fantastic.

Another good Swedish band I like is the Caesars.

LOL, you got to be kidding me, they are also pretty much from the same place as Dick Tiger and Millecolin... And for your information, I wouldn't call Kent a small band, they are pretty much the biggest band we got in Sweden now... (ABBA come back, all is forgiven....)

I guess you mean Ceasars Palace? Not a fan, at all, but then again I've only heard a fw songs so far... A bit to girly for me I guess ;)

Btw, do you understand one single word of the Kent songs?

Kent released two English records, Isola and Hagnesta Hill. Thus, I understood those songs, but since then Vapen and Ammunition and Du Jag and Doden are in Swedish and hard to understand. However, their music itself is so great!

    Nick, do you like Kent?

I have seen Kent live twice. Once in New York City and once in Chicago. I met them as well and they were real nice. They opened up for the Cardigans.

Speaking of the Cardigans, do not forget about the lovely Nina Persson!! Nina is beautiful and she can sing! Their record Long Before Daylight was fantastic!!

As for Caesars Palace, they dropped the Palace when they came to the States I guess. They are not real girly anymore, at least in my eyes and ears. I saw them play at a small venue here in Chicago about a year ago and they were great!! Give them a shot. Their latest release, Paper Tigers has some gems on it.

Oh, well, as you can tell I don't care much for Kent. Didn't even know they had recorded records in English. I'll give you "heads up" for beinga Cardigans/Nina fan though ;)

My friends just told me they had to drop the Palace bit in order to avoid a law suit from the casino :?

Nick, I am a huge Kent fan!! Obviously yourself and Nick do not care for them, but since around 1997 I have been following them and while a lot of people might find their music boring, I quite fancy it.

I guess I just like mellow music like Kent and Mojave 3 among others.

Nick, Kruse, tell me about Radio Dept. I have heard a few songs and they sound good. Their albums are not available for sale or to download and I would really like to hear more of them. Do you either of you know them and like them?

No worries, if you like them its fine with me. I'm pretty neutral to their music, but I have met them quite a few times and in my eyes they are arrogant bastards.

Regarding Radio Dept. I haven't really gotten in to them, but I'll try and see if I can find any songs to download and find out wthat's the fuzz about.

You can order their debut album HERE

Maybe we should create a new thread for Swedish Bands or something, rather than high jacking this one?
