We still have more teams coming in! We're up to 95 teams now, soon to be 96 as I see another new team is starting this upcoming week...maybe a few of the first round prelim matches will need to have 3 teams going against each other so the numbers work out for the knockout rounds?

And we just played gameweek 3, so I take it you mean gameweek 4? :D

either way sounds good. Your new format (top 36 get a bye, remaining teams play a one week prelim) will cut down on prelim weeks and may be better and more fair for all the teams.

I like the 2nd option (or a variation of).
...(not that it matters when I'm rolling around in the cellar) ;)

Drat! I missed the bye by only 3 places! I should have used my Wild Card a week earlier and stocked up on points!

Oh well, I'll take down my opponent... After last year's disasterous season, I actually decided to care this year... at least until my FFL league starts up...

Looks like my Orioles have got a pretty good jump on the opponent with just the Sunday and Monday games remaining. Up 15 and I've still got 3 players going tomorrow.

I have used my wild card (a great new concept this year) to revamp my team and get rid of a few slackers and replace injured players. Ironically (not planned), I replaced Bullard with Parker. I only did that because Parker's hit was not a cheap shot, Parker felt very bad about it (coming to the Fulham locker room at halftime and after the game to apologize), and Cookie and Bullard said it was not a dirty play. It was an unfortunate situation but Parker showed himself to be a class act.

Just saw the draw for the 2nd round. We're glad we get to play the team that scored *85* points last week.

McLean United was listed first in the pairings and therefore I assume we're home team. Towards that end, we have put tickets on sale already for the big match and hope to sell out XM Radio Park in beautiful downtown McLean, VA.

To entice fans further, we're having our first big giveaway of the season, a bobblehead of our mascot, Super Soccerhead (think Mr. Met with a soccerball instead). It's sponsored by McDonalds and Lean Cuisine. Tickets are value priced at $10-$1,500 and are available by calling me and giving me your credit card information.

If I remember correctly my team didn't do too good in this cup competition last year.

Since McLean is announcing sponsors I'll mention that Stover FC is proud to announce that Domino Records will continue as shirt sponsor. go fantasy teams!

Yeah.....SAY WE ARE TOP THE LEAGUE>>>SAY WE ARE TOP THE LEAGUE......repeat to fade...

    Kenny Goss.... Baby !!

I have a bet with my brother Cleveland Simon $100 on who will finish highest.......all roses at the moment....!

Made a good little signing in Joey Barton for Jimmy...came up trumps as he scored today.

    roll on Chelscum...!
