V for Vendetta

Only because I don't see a thread for it here... I'd love to get people's opinions on 'V for Vendetta'.

I thought it was a fantastic movie both from a visual and plot perspective. I was engaged for the full movie, never feeling a period of slowness. The characters are both eye-catching and thoughtful... and the movie itself is an all-around "smart" movie.

I give it two thumbs up... others?

 

Its what I would call 'a really good crap movie'. Visually stunning and agreat 'idea' for a 'plot' that falls down a little in the execution. I enjoyed it much more than I expected and reccomend it. Get the surround sound on and sit real close to the TV for this one.

With the Landsharks recommendation, I finally got around to watching this movie.

I agree with pretty much everything Glen said. I really did enjoy the movie and its '1984' innuendos...I'm a sucker for Orwellian themes but this movie was also put together quite nicely and it kept me entertained.
