I can't put into words what this means to every Fulham fan worldwide. Sometimes a team doesn't need trophy's.

    These are our Championships.

Well said Mike! It was a great day for all Fulham supporters and one we can all cherish for a long, long time!

One player I would like to give special praise to yesterday was Michael Brown. I thought he was fantastic in midfield. Along with Pembridge, those two not only neutralized Lampard and Makelele, but they also were able to track back well and help out defensively. It was truly a team effort and I am so happy about the win! We needed that one!! Let's just hope we can continue onward and upward!!

Yes, I think they were going to restrain him on the Drogba handball incident. "HANDBALL! HANDBALL!....{yelling so loud he cuts feed}...COME ON!! THAT'S A HANDBALL! You useless....What a useless linesman" Of course after a few moments he's cheerfully shouting they've disallowed the goal and giving Drogba a yellow. He was all over the place. I think he was crying at the end and then he was rambling on about something about Michael Cain and bunch of other names and such????

    Gentleman Jim

I'm really dissapointed I missed his commentary and I'm a bit miffed that they didn't use it for the FulhamTV highlights for this weekends game.

Jim is one of us, a fan whom has been with the club forever...of course he was passionate. They might of thought he went over the top and if tehre is one thing I can guarantee, he never used the word 'Chelsea'. What team has that!?

I heard that, too. He was really losing it at the end. Others random names he he mentioned were John Major, Raquel Welch, and pretty much everyone who ever played for the club. He encouraged everyone to go out and have a celebratory beer, just as he was going to do.

I have noticed him blowing out his mic a couple times before when he gets extra excited. He truly loves the club and is a supporter first, commentator second. God bless him for it! It's like sitting in the stands next to your best mate.

    Cheers,
    Martin

I couldn't be more pleased by the result. As Mike said, these are our championships.

If Coleman is such a football genius, though, a genius who cracked Mourinho's code, why couldn't he get us some better results on the road? We surely can't chalk it all up to bad breaks.

Our guys obviously have the skills to take them at least to mid-table. Why aren't we there? I have to believe that our manager deserves a healthy portion of blame.

Am I the only one who feels this way? Maybe I should just continue to bask in the afterglow of sweet victory and not worry about it. Yeah, I think I will.

I think you are right in thinking this way. I am of the belief that after the next few matches at Villa and at home against Portsmouth will go a long ways in determining the future of Coleman as manager of this club.

Obviously the win was great, but as you mentioned, it begs to ask the question why this kind of committment and desire were not present in other matches this season. On a given day, Fulham can play with anyone.

As I wrote in my column on the main page, Fulham must build on the momentum from this win. If they do not, it will simply be a happy memory for Fulham supporters for years to come. However, it would be nice if this win was a springboard to bigger and better things over the next few seasons!

Al Fayed was there and felt the atmosphere and electricity in the air at the Cottage and I am hoping the revives his interests and more importantly opens up his checkbook for some new signings in the summer.

Missed the re-play..gonna get up early for the 4 a.m. re-play before work....seeing that scoreboard is really great...doesnt get old!!!!!! Add on some wins this weekend and after and its all "Gravy" as they say (not sure who this "they" is however)......agree w/ your comments though Tom.....heres to another Fulham victory!!!!

p.s. if Duke loses that would be great also...but more importantly a Fulham "W" or "Dub-Ya" is the ideal way to enjoy the weekend!!!!

    Free Pints for Life!

I do not condone the thuggish, hooligan culture BUT this young Fulham fan shall be getting pints for life.

Behind him, is the away end at Craven Cottage from this Sunday...he didn't want a fight, he just wanted to express his excitement over the win in his own, personal way.
