    Hi,

I'm heading over to New York for a few days with the Mrs later on this month, just wondered if there was any local knowledge/recommendations places to see, eat, drink etc other than the obvious from any resident Fulham fans?

    Cheers

    Hello Al,
Funny thing, you go from Surrey to NY at the end of the month and I from NY to Surrey. Right.

Anyway, I'm sure some of the others NY'ers may chime in, RDG, Allegra etc. but seeing as there are ALOT to do in NY I will always suggest seeing a show on Broadway, seeing the Metropolitan Museum (http://www.metmuseum.org/), head into the park on a nice day for a long walk. I'll think about it some more and I'll get back to you in th next day or two. By then I'm sure the others will have given you some ideas.

    AL,

I've sent you a PM, since my list of places was long and I didn't feel like domineering this link. I've sent you a list of plenty of lesser known places to eat and drink. I don't know where you'll be staying, but have given plenty of places all over town.
Oh, I did forget the walking tours. Check out the NY Times on Fridays, as there can be some interesting ones.

    Have fun!
