New York Giants

    Hi Guys

    Happy New year and all that jazz, nice to speak to you again.

    I am in New York on the weekend of the 4/5th March and was hoping to catch a American Football game, do any of you guys have any info regarding the New York giants, i.e is it possible to get tickets? Do they play that time of year?

    Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Keep up the great work on the site.

    after a little research it would appear that the NFL season only runs from september til early jan, is this right?

    You're correct, the New England Patriots should be crowned Superbowl Champions by March. :tongue:

    Sorry Leon, no 'grid iron' that time of year as it all ends either the last week of January or the first week in February. You could try and go see the New York Rangers (hockey) or the New York Knicks (basketball).

    There are a few Fulham fans in the NY area so if Fulham are playing on TV we usually meet up for a couple of pints and watch the match.

    Nevermind, quite a short season, always thought those boys were a bit soft to be honest, nothing more than Rugby but covered in shoulder pads and a crash helmet! ; )

    Is the Ice Hockey much of an event??

    It's so the other sports can get TV viewers during the rest of the year. :twisted:

    (I feel qualified to say this since I can't watch Hockey and Soccer on the major networks :lol: )

    To bad your not in Tampa to see the Stanley Cup winners THE TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING....but hockey games are real exciting (even if you get a "nose bleed" seat up in the rafters)....have a good time in the big apple! COYW

    booo. I still say cities that don't get snow in winter shouldn't be allowed to have hockey teams.
