looks like Sunderland were after him to, based on the MLS boards he was out of contract so this is a free

article says Diops gone in January, anyone know anything on that?

 

There have been all sorts of rumours that Arsenal and Manchester United want Diop, but nothing concrete. I would safely assume there will be offers, it is just a matter of whether the offers will be accepted or not.

Despite input from Yanks who knew, they risk looking like idiots again; re: McBride and Bocanegra.

Still, Elliot is not starting material, IMO.

He is definitely not starting material, but he does add a little depth which cannot hurt.
