    To All:

After debating on the weekend and getting suggestion from the fans out there, it looks like the match against Newcastle, on January 14th is the one we are going to attend.

I have spoken with American Airlines directly, and they are willing to give us a discount on our airfare if we have 12 people (regardless of airport you leave from) from FulhamUSA fly for this trip. In NY, we have about 5 or 6 from NY thus far alone so we are half way there.

As for itinerary, here is a rough schedule:

Leave Wednesday night, January 11th for London.

Arrive at London Heathrow airport on the moring of January 12th. This day we will get settled in and if you are staying with one of our local friends, you can meet them that day and drop your stuff off. The rest of the day is ours and we can explore London.

Friday, January 13th will be the day we go for a Stadium Tour and meet up with some of the local Fulham faithful for a few beers and check out the Fulham/Putney/Hammersmith area.

Saturday, January 14th. We'll meet up in the pubs in Hammersmith and Fulham with all the fans and them watch the Whites take 3 pts off Newcastle. Then its off for a part back at the pubs in Fulham.

Sunday, January 15th. We recover a bit, take it easy and head our way back home.

Currenly, tickets are cheap but they will be even cheaper by the time we book. Speaking of that, I plan on buying tickets about a month before the trip, so if you are interested, you have about 2 weeks to see if you can make it.

I have checked the prices from American Airlines -- London Round Trip Airfare prices Per Person(including tax):

    From:

    New York - $392.90
    Chicago - $451.40
    Boston - $430.40
    Atlanta - $544.40
    Florida - Approx. $550
    DC - $462.40
    Columbus, OH - $565.40
    Los Angelas - $520.40

You can take about $60 off of each ticket since they will drop that much more by the time we book. Also, if we get the discount, we can take another 10% - 20% off.

If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to email me: mike@fulhamusa.com.

Hope you can make it, but if not, we'll cheer for you at the Cottage.

    COYW's.

    Airfare and Hotels

    Hello again!

I have spoken to my lovely representative at American Airlines again and I wanted to share with you people the prices should we decide to book both airfare and hotel with them.

Prices including round trip airfare, 3 nights hotel and taxes are included (all prices per person). :wow:

    From
    NY:
    $523 banana
    Boston:
    $572
    Chicago:
    $620
    Florida:
    Approx. $740
    Atlanta:
    $650
    Columbus:
    $670

Now, I don't need to tell you this is incredibly cheap for Roundtrip airfare and 3 nights hotel in london. The hotel I have chosen was the one nearest to Fulham that AA offered which is the Thistle Kensington Gardens. A link to it can be found here: http://www.thistlehotels.com/thistl...Info/index.jsp.9_A&_DAV=th-kensington-gardens

Again, some food for thought. Any questions, please email me!!

p.s. I should also mention that it includes 2-For-1 Dining DISCOUNT for Lunch and Dinner (before 7pm) at the hotel.

I stayed in this hotel about a year ago...you can see Hyde Park from the entrance...and the area is some of the nicest in London.

    Newkie Match

    Good job, AM!

Where do I sign up? I'll probably stay with friends, but this will be a good chance for the Americans to meet more Brits.

    Should be a good do!!

Another option I looked into was staying with-in walking distance of The Cottage (which would be the best case scenario for me). The Premier Travel Inn is located right on Putney Bridge and the cost is $63 per person per night.

Might be worth it for some considering most of the trip will be in and around SW6!!

    Think on.

    Mike,

Thanks for doing all the work on this (and pricing it for us too)! You have definitely sweetened the pot.

No problem Jux. Regardless of how many make the trip, whether it be 4 or 40, the trip is on and I'm more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

I know only a few of us are going but the FSC has invited us to spend the evening after the match back at Craven Cottage.

FFC has given them one of the bars at the Cottage to use after the Newcastle match and we've been invited to the festivities. Also, fans from the Holland team NEC will be making the trip over that same weekend to support Fulham against Newcastle (NEC fans make the trip over once a year) so it should be a party.
