    I think Coleman needs to find a new job. We are not getting results with a team full of quality international players. Last year we were 13th and lucky that we werent in more trouble this season we are 17th after 7 games needing all 3 points against a pissed off Man.United team that will probably beat us by 5 goals. This manager has no idea what hes doing suring the match. Against Tottenham he takes off Mcbride a player who can actually finish instead of taking Radz out of the game. Radz hasnt scored since May 4th against Newcastle thats 9 games but, he keeps starting and for what? Radz is horrible and John would of finished that one on one chance hradz had today. This manager is worse than Sven during a game. Coleman always says well we play well etc well we arent getting results and it really dosent matter if we have 20 shots on goal or not we just arent getting the 3 points thats all that matters. Coleman all last season was bitching about our "Young defense". He keeps saying Knight is young well thats total BS as Knight is 25 and is older than John Terry. Instead of buying a CB he keeps this poor defense and signs a player who has played like 15 games in 2 years. I think Paul Le Guen is still without a club he should come to Fulham as he has won 3 titles with Lyon.

    i think that everyone was surprised to see McBride come off. I can only think that Cookie took him off because he has a minor injury. Cookie is well aware that McBride was potentially the only one that could have scored last night.... i think that steed was too far back and fire fighting because the defence looked more like a circus act and somewhat shakey...I still am not outing cookie though....last night was very fulhamish.

    Who do we have that is quality on the international level? We have Papa, Claus Jensen and McBride. Some would say Boa Morte, but he rarely ever plays fro Portugal. In the Premiership, that my friend is not enough to get the job done.

    I personally thought McBride was very tired and needed to be taken off. I would have probably put Helguson in for him, but the point being that McBride needed to be taken off in my opinion. He was ineffective yesterday and showed no signs of that changing in the last 20 minutes. My girlfriend, who knows nothing about soccer even said she thought McBride was doing nothing out there and was ineffective.

    While I agree we are not getting the results we need, we are playing much better than we were last season. We are not sitting back defending the entire match and we are actually pushing forward to score and get good results. Unfortunately in the case of the last night and a few other matches, our finishing has been subpar. If we can get better in this area, I think some positive results will come our way.

    I also think that Cookie is really learning as a manager. I have been a critic of his in the past, but he has shown to learn from his mistakes of the past season and build on that. He has done away with the 4-5-1 and gone to a more attacking formation where Fulham is pushing forward all the time. I like what I am seeing out of the team.

    In all honesty, what is a new manager going to do? He is still not going to have the necessary money to go buy a bunch of new players. Until money is injected into the club to bring in some new players, we have to do with what we have. And personally, I do not think a new manager will add anything to this team at this point.

    Interesting that this thread on the performance against Spurs is tied to a poll asking if CC should go...

    {It is either one or the other, as thread-nazi I am torn as whether to move it. So I wont.}

    Tom: In the other match thread, you related that it seemed only Volz was providing service via crossing balls.

    I think this is important... like the long-ball attack, the sideline cross is there to keep the opponent defense honest, by keeping them spread and moving. If Volz was the only one providing such, then where was Boa Morte?

    If there's no movement along the left, then how can you critique Claus too much?

    I havent watched the highlite yet... but I'll look out for this.

    It is too soon for all this carping.. still too soon, I mean.
