Damn, that is good news! We finally added some much needed depth at center-half! Well done Fulham!

    See Obi-Wan....we're buying some players.

Did it say if he'd be ready to play on Saturday?

Well how about that!!! That makes me feel a bit better and now it will light a fire under Knight, Boca and Rehman if they want to play they will need to work!!

Not sure if he is going to play. I have not been able to find anything to confirm or deny him playing Saturday.

I would have to backtrack on my kudos for Cookie if he does....

Though it didnt say how long he's been at the ground, if there are other starters available, throwing him in the mix in a crucial game would be idiocy!

I'd pick him above Rehman.. but not any of the other three.

    And, speaking of Rehman..
Fulhams own version of the SI cover jinx... Note how often you dont see a player after a feel good piece on him?

Nice move. More depth at the back is always good.

I am going to sound like a loser here, but am I the only one who is bothered by the fact that the Official Fulham site has Philippe Christanval's name spelled incorrectly in big letters. There is only one "l" in Philippe. The club should know that and get it right. Be professional!

I had commented to my bud Liam that there seemed to be two defensive mids on the field last night (Christanval and PBD). He remarked that Christanval was acquired with the thought that Papa would leave in January.

So, what would that mean for the centerback position?

Christanval's natural position is center back. He did okay last night as the sweeper, but I think he is more naturally suited for being a center-half.

I do know we need a center-half or two in January and if Papa leaves, I hope they are not counting on Christanval to take his place. Phillippe seems injury prone and misses a lot of games. He tweaked his hammy last night and I am guessing we will not see him until at least November.

It sounds as though we'll need a defensive mid for sure, then. I hope, if he goes, that PBD does not depart for less than 14 million (pounds).

And we also need a pure right wing. Decisions, decisions.
