Fantastic match, simply superb!!!! I thought Boca looked much more comfortable in his CB position and if it wasn't for him, Ferguson would've scored on that header...take a look at the replay, it was Boca by himself with 3 Everton players.

And what can I say, McBride worked his socks off. Strong match also, from N. Jensen and Voltzy.

    COYW's!!!

Big, big, big , big win for Fulham today!!! With the International break now upon us it was vital to get this win and boost the confidence of the players and the management.

I am really proud of the team and they have responded well.

A good story about the game here in Chicago is that Fires of Fulham from BigSoccer, and myself were at "The Globe" here in Chicago which has a good number of Everton fans. When McBride scored, we both were screaming and yelling and the owner, an Everton fan, half-kiddingly told us to quiet down. We didn't, especially when the final whistle went off.

    Great win!

Chicago Tom....Nice job with the prediction. That would have gotten you some money if you had placed a wager. Hope everyone is in good spirits this morning. Those last few minutes of the game I was on pins and needes. Especially for the penalty kick just outside the box..

It was nice to see the central defense reduce the number of "open looks" on Warner this time. I know it was Arsenal on Wednesday night, but, man did they leave him alone in front of goal.

Tom...glad to see you were able to have fun with the guys at the Globe.

    McBride Quoted

"The goal pumped us up a little bit, but it all started from the back," reflected the United States striker, set to jet off for the World Cup qualifiers against Mexico and Guatemala.

"They were a lot tighter and we started winning more balls. When we play together, we are a lot better team. When our shape is better and when we are tighter, we pass the ball a lot better.

"I'm not sure if it is a mind-set or what. We are lacking consistency, but we all believe in each other and that will translate as we get further down the road. It is part of our job to go out and put on a good show for the fans, but that's secondary because we're a team and we've got to play for each other first."

This guy is class and should be El Capitan.

I saw it at the end of the match, he took a elbow in the eye and you could see it was black when he was walking off. Good man, take one for the team.
