Newcastle Match Replayed Last Night

After a nightmarish episode of not having electricity for 24 hours, I was pleased to watch the replay of Fulham's 4-1 victory over Newcastle last night thanks to Fox Soccer Channel's "Premier League Classics."

That was a great game! Crossley was astonishing in goal! Our counter-attack was very good as well. Look out for more Fulham repeats on Fox Soccer Channel throughout the summer. Unfortunately we are on the losing end of some of these "classics." The Fulham-Blackburn match at the Cottage was on a few nights ago. Not a good one. I think mnlandshark can atest to that being there in person.

 

How about I bring that tape to you in Columbus...since I never remembered to send it back in its envelope

After giddily re-watching this match, I came to realize that it was this performance that seemed to convince Coleman that the 4-5-1 formation was the way to go. How long did it take for him to realize that it didn't work?

 

And I had done such a good job of blocking that from my mind! Thanks for the reminder Tom
