I loved Joe Gibbs as a kid and nearly cried when he left. Now that he is back, I have a renewed interest in the 'skins.

Congrats. They had a great run to close out the regular season. It should be a great re-match of that 36-35 game back in November.

Back down to earth, guy! Lessee.. beat the Bears, soundly, get fired five minutes later.

And that doesnt say much either... Since the point has been made that the Bengals are the champs of NFC North along with AFC North given the records directly against and against opponents who ALSO beat NFC North teams.

    That said, Go 'Skins!

Not that it REALLY matters, but
Cincy were 2-0 against Browns who were 2-2 against NFC North

Cincy were 2-0 against Ravens who were 2-2 against NFC North

Cincy were 1-1 against Steelers who were 4-0 against NFC North

And Bengals were 4-0 against NFC North

So, just to make it simple, If you said a win against an opponent who won against a NFC North team was also a win against that team:

Bengals Total = 10-4 in NFC North (subjective, of course)

What REALLY matters is that it was that schedule that really made NFC North look bad.
    12-4 in div-div matchup

That's an aggregate of 3 losses per team.

yeah, here's hoping that we've only got to hear one week of hype, and then another week of moaning down here in DC.

God help Heather if they win this weekend

i'll be safely out of State by the time that circus comes to town.

At least it will be Joe Gibbs and not the "other person" that will be credited of turning things around for "that team in DC."

That was a nice win for the Redskins although I think that was a touchdown pass in the 4th quarter for them. The refs in my opinion botched that one.

Regardless, a win is a win. However, they will have to do better than 140 yards against the Seahawks on Saturday. I think the Redskins might actually win this game if they can get it together offensively. Their defense is playing really well right now.
