Say goodbye to the 'Mutts', say Hell-ooo to the Metros!!!

    * Success of a team is based on the focus and vision (two different aspects) of the whole organization.
    - Why have the Metro's ALWAYS floundered? And why didnt Bradley immediately turn it around? And if Bradley wanted Razov so bad why didnt he just take him?
    HINT:Lalas replaces Sakiewicz
    -NY Times

    - No, Lalas had nothing to do with last night's result and the Mutts looking like a whole different team than we've seen before.. but the ABSENCE of the albatross that is "US Soccer Establishment Old Boy " (and Stillitano before him) does.

Say goodbye to the Mutts.. the other teams wont have them to kick around, anymore!

    * Combatting mediocrity of the product is not a league function, it's a TEAM/Organization responsibility
    - a Tenth Year celebration should mark the second stage of maturity in a league.
Meaning time to field the best team (management and players) you can put together; if you aint running fast as you can, you're going backwards.

    Those who "Get it":
NE, Dallas, Chicago, NY, Salt Lake and maybe LA

    Those who DONT get it:
    Columbus, Colorado, KC, Chivas

Note I left out San Jose and DC...I think San Jose gets it, but cant do anything about it. I think DC gets it but are overwhelmed by the pace of the other teams in area of improvement.

    Finally:
    * Our USA young'uns can play with the best of them!
    - Fresh from seeing that assertive soccer trumps ball handling skills (as I witnessed when Crew manhandled Universidad Catolica) we ALSO see the USA leave the "Group of Death" on top. And playing some pretty attractive 'footy'.
