I am proud to say I was in attendance for Zat Knight's firsy England cap. I had my Fulham kit on and it made me proud. Unfortunately, the US lost, but it was a great match! I met some fellow Fulham fans which is always great!

I only got to see the second half and I was sure that at least one of the 2 had tro have been from a pk, until the announcers noted that the US was playing much better in the second.

I thought Zat played great.. he seemed to be where he should be at all times.

Three Fulham players on the pitch at the same time.

And Ericksson, the bum, must be thrilled.
Downside for the US.. not getting at least 2 on Cry-baby James.
    - If Friedel could have been in goal for England, it would have been 2-0

Yeah, I was walking through the parking lot and of the 47,000 people, I ran into AtlantaJohn. We were talking for a few minutes before we realized who we were and it was quite amazing that of all the people, we ran into each other. I also met Simon, a season-ticket holder from England. He was in town with a friend and he hung out with my friends and I after the match. We took him to the north side and went out for a while after the match.

Simon owns a St. George's cross flag with Fulham on it and I got my picture taken with Simon and tghe flag for the site. It was a good time!!

I also saw a few other people wearing Fulham gear. I went up to them to talk, but they were not really interested in conversing. I made an attempt though.

    England game

I was in attendance and also thought Zat had a very good game, Mcbride did his job with very little support, the only person who matched him in the air was Campbell, Bocanegra also had a good game for the limited time he was out there, and got in behind the England back line and was unlucky not to have scored himself. My son who is a Man U supporter was even cheering on Zat, several times chanting Zat knight for England, it was great to see three fulham players on the same pitch in an International game, and to all those pundits who called it a non game, i dont really care, it was England V the USA in a soccer game, and for all of us there it was a great occassion. Like Mike said when I was walking out into the parking lot, I noticed the Fulham shirt, so naturally went over and started talking to a fellow Fulham man, he also had a friend like me who is an American Liverpool fan, we could not live with him since Weds. We were in a bar before the game and I did see another Fulham shirt, but I could not catch him, met some Birmingham fans, and when i told them I was Fulham fan they did not laugh at me, just shows you Fulham as come a long way, time was when you mentioned you were a Fulham man, they would usually say something like I finally met one, or your the other one, we have come a long way. Have a good memorial day, and Mike in England its called a Bank holiday, the one today used to be called Whitsun, a bank holiday meant if the banks were closed so were all the business's so everyone got the day off.

    Bank Holiday?

Still is called Whitsun as far as I know John?....

I couldn't believe how many English fans there were at the game, out numbered the yanks from what I saw.

Zat certainlty did have a good game for the small part of it he played. Nice to see McBride make an impact shame he didn't get any support from ther others, But I'm an Englishman so why should I care!...

Cant wait for the game in Columbus...

How did Zat do today. I read a match report and it did not mention anything bad he did. However, the team did give up two goals. For anyone who watched, was Zat a factor today? Did he play okay?
